Day-1 is a 6-hour block of instructions on building pistol fundamentals. In this course the fundamentals are redefined in detail and tailored to the application of combat shooting. Students will learn mindset, ballistics, choosing a combat pistol, fundamentals of pistol marksmanship, weapons safety, proper loading and unloading of firearm, clearing malfunctions and speed vs accuracy.
Day-2 is a 6-hour block of instructions building on the fundamentals learned on day-1. Students will learn tactics and employment of a combat pistol. This training will involve the combat application of a pistol, meaning we break down the tactics portion (Strategy) and the physical portion or movements (Marksmanship) of a combat pistol. Day 2 will discuss the hard lessons learned during times of war and how we applied it to combat shooting. Students will learn moving and shooting tactics, barricade shooting, how to employ angles to maximize cover and concealment, tape drills and stress shooting.
Day-3 is a 6-hour block of instructions on low-light pistol tactics. In this course we will breakdown the equipment setup for low-light pistol engagement. Day 3 will discuss how to quickly engage threat while still maximizing darkness. Students will learn how to choose tactical lights and how-to setup lights for combat shooting, discussion on pistol light vs TAC lights, low-light engagements, weapons drill preformed in darkness and how to project light source around barricades.
