Human Limitations- Vision: 80% of our sensory information is processed through our eyes. Therefore, working in low to no light conditions is stretching out this human capability.
This course is designed to work on the specific dynamic skills needed to execute precise application of lethal force in low to no light confine spaces. The course will hone in on the advance skills needed while engaging low to no light high-intensity conflicts to ensure the safety of non-combatants. Students will be taught how to adopt themselves to their operational environment and to employ tactics to close in and neutralize a threat or tactical evade from a hostile situation in a low light conflict.
This course is broken down in phases of learning:
Phase One- Firearms: Training will be conducted on a flat range and will go over the basic fundamentals to low-light firearms engagements. Talk over tactical light and how to use gun mounted lights and pistol and light techniques. Students will learn when and how to quickly conduct tactical reloads with light source.
Phase Two- Firearms: Low-light barricade engagement. Students will learn to effectively use light for near and long engagements.
