Ronin "Vintage" T-Shirt
Miyamoto Musashi, Born a Ronin, son of Shinmen Munisai (Samurai), was a master swordsman in 1645 Japan. Miyamoto was an undefeated Ronin that developed the way of Niten Ichi-ryū (two-sword technique) and author of the “Book of Five Rings”
In this book Musashi teaches the spiritual backdrop of a warrior….Earth, Water, Fire, Wind and Void.
FRONT- The brush stroke "O" in Ronin means ZEN. Zen is the peace that comes from being one with an entity other then yourself, living in the present, and being in the flow of the universe. The brush stroke on top of the "O" means "War". Team Ronin and others like us have found the enlightenment of Zen through many years of hard war.
BACK- The Dragon seal was a imperial stamp used by the emperor to mark his commands to the battlefield. The "De oppresso liber" crest is our oath to free the oppressed.

"The Elements"
WATER- The Ronin (Blue) illustrates the element of "Water" as the teachings of spirituality, religion and one's outlook on life. The meaning of water in relation to life is flexibility. Water demonstrates natural flexibility as it changes to conform with the boundaries which contain it, seeking the most efficient and productive path. A person should master many aspects of life allowing them to possess both balance and flexibility.

FIRE- The Ronin (RED) illustrates the element of "Fire" as the way of fighting (battle).
-As one man can defeat ten men, so can one thousand men defeat ten thousand. However, you can become a master of strategy by training alone with a sword, so that you can understand the enemy's stratagems, his strength and resources, and come to appreciate how to apply strategy to beat ten thousand enemies. - Miyamoto Musashi |
VOID- The Ronin (Black/Navy Blue) illustrates the element of "Void" as philosophically, the nature of both human knowledge and other things. Dealing with "That which cannot be seen".
- "By knowing things that exist, you can know that which does not exist."
- Miyamoto Musashi
